| THE CHARMING STORY BEHIND THIS CONCERT For years when our twins were small we had a holiday open house in December when our kitchen, living room and dining room smelled of New Mexican and Puerto Rican holiday foods and our friends and family always showed up and packed our casita to the gills. We passed out lyrics and everybody sang for hours! It was hard to get folks to leave but our hearts were always full. Now, those very songs are precisely what we’re taking to our beloved Club Passim, in Harvard Square, our second home. All we need is you to sing with us on these classic songs from Puerto Rico, Venezuela, Spain and the United States, as well as a few Sol y Canto originals – a brand new holiday song of our own (Brian wrote it, of course) that we can’t wait to reveal! But that’s not all… we have fantastic SPECIAL MUSICAL GUESTS : – Beloved Puerto Rican singer/dancer/musician/actor Renaissance man JORGE ARCE (percussion & vocals) – Beloved Educator/Guitarist/singer/rabble-rouser BEATRIZ McCONNIE ZAPATER (percussion & vocals) – Two members of the Vocal Improvisation Group THE BACKYARD COLLECTIVE: Vocalists extraordinaire PAOLA FAORO and RENE PFISTER, singer, educator and songwriter     Come celebrate and sing along with us! Las mismas canciones navideñas de Puerto Rico, Latinoamérica, España y los EEUU que cantamos por años en nuestra sala con nuestra familia, ahora las vamos a compartir en nuestra «otra» sala, el acogedor Club Passim en Harvard Square, Cambridge, MA con invitados especiales de lujos incluyendo a nuestros queridos Jorge Arce y Beatriz McConnie Zapater de Puerto Rico, entre otros.
